What is Motorcycle Insurance?

Motorcycles provide a unique sense of freedom like no other vehicle and they must be insured differently too. Motorcycle insurance consists of multiple coverages that provide protection in different situations and these coverages are not a “one size fits all.” In addition, there are several other types of vehicles that may need to be insured, including scooters, ATVs, side by sides, golf carts, and snowmobiles. We work with you to ensure that coverages and deductibles match your needs. As an independent agency, we can also provide you with the most competitive options from the companies we represent.

  • Cruisers

  • Choppers

Motorcycle Insurance Coverages

  • Property Damage Liability: : Pays for damages to someone else’s property resulting from an accident for which you are at fault.

  • Medical Payments: Covers medical expenses for you and any passengers if you’re injured in an accident.

  • Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist: Protection to help compensate you for injuries or property damage caused by a driver without insurance or with insufficient coverage limits.

  • Comprehensive: Non-collision type accidents or claims causing damage to your vehicle. Examples include, but are not limited to, hail damage, hitting an animal, glass, theft, vandalism, flood, and fire. This coverage includes a deductible. The higher the deductible, the lower your premium will be.

  • Collision: Collision type accidents with another vehicle or object causing damage to your vehicle. This coverage includes a deductible. The higher the deductible, the lower your premium will be.

  • Accessory Coverage: Provides protection for additions, enhancements, or modifications to the vehicle that are not factory-installed, including electronic equipment, sidecars, trailers, trike conversion kits, custom paint, plating or exhaust, or mower blades.

  • Carried Contents: Pay for insured’s owned personal property that is damaged, destroyed, or stolen while using the vehicle. These can include phones, hunting or fishing gear, camping gear, and more.

  • Additional Options: Most popular include rental reimbursement, roadside assistance, towing, trip interruption, and loan or lease gap coverage.
